Woke up thinking about Mark Stafford’s performance at Exit Arts.

1. Faxed Mark Stafford, care of Exit Arts, an Audience Member Absentee Form (©AEFCMT, 2009) with office and desk exercises attached.
2. Went to see SuttonBeresCuller at the Lawrimore Project. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
3. While walking to Lawrimore I saw a child crawl on the ground and was reminded of William Pope L.
4. Made more postcards, got stamps and mailed item to friend.
4.5 I received an email with a picture of one of my postcard hanging on the recipients refrigerator! That makes me very happy.
5. Stopped in studio, took pic of haiku in window (below post).
6. Shopped for necessary attire for this evening’s performance with OntheDouble

Flight Patterns Haiku Project: posting haiku’s in my studio window. The studio is in Georgetown right next to Boeing field, hence the title of the project (airplanes overhead ALL the freaking time!).

I would so bring my office chair to the gallery and swivel for about 2 hours to watch him ‘work’. Artist’s website HERE. Gallery website HERE.

I have always loved her handwriting. She’s referring to this piece:

My father recently sent a card with a check made out to Amy Trefsger Flatchestedmom. Soooo cute and it cashed since Amy-Ellen Flatchestedmama Trefsger is my legal name! Love my family, love my art life.

Grey clothing is starting to haunt me again, there’s so much of it at this time of year (when I collect the most). Above it today’s purchase, I couldn’t resist.

Just cancelled the myspace page, relieved that there’s one less item to update.
